Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Baker to prepare baked goods and menu items for Tim Hortons. The ideal candidate will ensure consistent quality, maintain hygiene standards, and work efficiently in a fast-paced food service environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake products such as breads, donuts, muffins, and pastries according to Tim Hortons recipes and standards.
Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure quality and consistency.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and baking area.
Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing ingredients.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets and customer demand.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of baking equipment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in baking or food preparation is preferred.
Knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, and food safety standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
Strong teamwork, time management, and communication skills.
Work Conditions:
On-site role in a commercial food service environment.
Physically demanding work involving standing for long periods and handling hot equipment.
May require early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
