Job Summary

This role involves supporting the growth and maintenance of plants, flowers, and crops through daily horticultural activities. Key Responsibilities

Plant, transplant, and propagate flowers, shrubs, and crops

Water, weed, prune, and fertilize plants regularly

Monitor plant health and identify pests or diseases

Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers safely when required

Prepare soil, seed beds, and planting areas

Harvest, sort, and package plants or produce

Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment

Maintain cleanliness of work areas and follow safety procedures

Requirements

Previous experience in farming, gardening, or horticulture is an asset (not required)

Knowledge of plants and growing techniques is a plus

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Physically fit (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
