

Position Summary:
The Amusement Ride Operator is responsible for safely operating and monitoring rides while ensuring a positive experience for all guests. This role requires attentiveness, adherence to safety protocols, and excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced entertainment environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate amusement rides according to manufacturer instructions and company safety procedures.
Conduct safety checks and inspections on rides before, during, and after operation.
Assist guests with boarding and exiting rides safely.
Monitor ride performance and respond promptly to any mechanical issues or emergencies.
Enforce park rules and maintain a safe environment for all visitors.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the ride area and equipment.
Report incidents, maintenance needs, or safety concerns to supervisors.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience operating amusement rides or working in customer service is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to safety and detail.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
Work Conditions:
On-site work at amusement parks or similar entertainment venues.
May involve outdoor work in various weather conditions.
Requires standing for long periods, operating controls, and assisting guests.
Work may include evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak seasons.
