Job Summary: At our company, we are committed to safe, reliable, and timely transportation services. We are seeking a dedicated Long Haul Tractor-Trailer Driver who will be responsible for transporting goods over long distances while maintaining safety, professionalism, and compliance with all transportation regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

– Operate a tractor-trailer safely over long-distance routes

– Transport goods efficiently while meeting delivery schedules

– Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle

– Maintain accurate logbooks and required documentation

– Ensure cargo is properly secured and handled

– Comply with all federal, provincial/state, and company regulations

Other Duties Assigned:

– Report mechanical issues promptly and coordinate repairs when necessary

– Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers

– Follow all safety policies and procedures

– Assist with loading and unloading cargo when required

Requirements:

– Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL/Class 1 or equivalent)

– Clean driving record

– Ability to travel for extended periods and work flexible schedules

– Knowledge of transportation safety regulations

– Strong time-management and communication skills
