Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
Prepare and cook meals according to menu standards
Supervise kitchen staff and ensure tasks are completed efficiently
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and portion control
Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and meets all health and safety regulations
Help with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies
Train and support junior kitchen staff when needed
Step in to lead the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
Monitor food storage and reduce waste
Requirements:
Proven experience working as a Sous Chef or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
